What We’re Looking For
An exceptional Strategy Director to lead on stellar work for both existing clients and new business. A social specialist with solid brand foundations, you dissect briefs, pinpoint the problem and identify the opportunity, creating a strategic plan with effectiveness right at its core. You’re fascinated with how brands drive value from social platforms and get your kicks from delivering great work, firmly rooted in, and informed by culture, that solves real business problems. Key Responsibilities
* Drive the day-to-day delivery of strategic work spanning audience and market insight, content strategy, goal and KPI setting to measurement, reporting and optimisation.
* Play a key part in our pitch process, working with the senior team to deliver strategic plans and effective responses to briefs, presenting confidently and coherently when required.
* Work with the accounts team to identify proactive opportunities for existing clients by optimising strategic plans and proving the added value social can bring to their business, resulting in bigger budgets and additional revenue.
* Work closely with a team of analysts to generate strong actionable insights through in-depth quantitative and qualitive research and industry-specific observations.
* Establish robust KPIs to measure content effectiveness and brand impact alongside our in-house paid team.
* Work closely with the creative, design and video departments to develop effective creative briefs that deliver industry-leading proposals and work.
* Support the accounts team by creating a ‘bank’ of strategic frameworks that can be adapted for multiple purposes, adding strategic rigour and structure to new business efforts.
* Lead on internal and external education and best practice, inspiring the agency and our clients to think and behave more strategically and strive to create best-in-class work.
* Ensure we are seen as industry leaders by staying on top of new behaviours, core and emerging platforms and tools that are changing the landscape. Produce thought-leadership pieces and present at industry events as required.
Must Haves
* Sustained track record and commitment to developing social strategies that achieve brand objectives and deliver measurable results.
* A deep understanding of social media marketing and persuasive ability to explain how it can be harnessed for a variety of industry sectors.
* In-depth knowledge of best practice and native channel analytics (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Tik Tok, Snapchat)
* Strong experience working alongside senior and/or new business teams in pitches, and a proven record of helping to unlock additional revenue from clients via strategic opportunities.
* An understanding of various strategic frameworks and analytical tools.
* A proven ability to conduct in-depth research and develop actionable insights.
* Good understanding of paid social and advertising capabilities.
* A collaborative approach to work, with strong experience of working alongside creative departments.
* Excellent deck writing and strong presentation skills.
