A leading manufacture in Thame, Oxfordshire are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operatives or someone with copper punching experience, tin plating experience, press operation and setting experience, ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring etc.
You will be joining a growing established team due to company growth on a permanent basis. 6am - 2.30pm, Monday to Thursday and only 5 hours on a Friday 6am -11am - £24,700k
2.30pm - 11pm, Monday to Thursday and only 5 hours on a Friday 11am - 4pm - £28,000k
FURTHER TRAINING WLL BE PROVIDED……..
1. Working in any area of component manufacturing, product assembly, wiring and test as required to meet delivery requirements.
2. Carryout component manufacturing, product assembly to meet requirements documented in build instructions, drawings, BOM's or other related documents.
3. Ensure all activities satisfy quality standards or other applicable standards.
4. Set up component manufacturing equipment (including EHRT, Plating line, power presses), product production areas, to ensure it is run efficiently and effectively to meet requirements.
5. Maintain a safe, orderly and clean work area and ensure safe working practices are carried out at all times.
6. Ensure that all components and products are stored tidily and correctly identified.
7. Accurately maintain production records, product records and other records.
8. Liaise with Team Leaders and ensure stock levels are kept up to date.
9. Ensure equipment is running efficiently/effectively with maximum use of material, resource and time.
10. Maintain machinery and equipment as required by TPM programs.
11. Alert the Production Manager or other appropriate staff of any plant or equipment maintenance issues.
12. Take an active part in all team working and continuous improvement initiatives.
13. Offer suggestions to the Team Leader/Line Manager that will improve the efficiency and safety of production areas and equipment.
14. Raise awareness of manufacturing problems with the Production Manager and work with others to find and effectively implement solutions.
