As a key player, you'll spearhead the Yorkshire charge in capturing new business and nurturing existing customer connections within the thriving wood recycling industry. Your Tasks Proactively seek new sales leads and inquiries through physical visits or via phone calls, effectively turning them into new customer accounts. Cultivate and enhance current customer accounts, focusing particularly on a set of “high value” suppliers within the waste wood sector. Foster strong, progressive relationships with existing and potential customers to bolster customer acquisition and retention efforts. Offer technical guidance, potentially involving site visits or offering structured training to customer site staff. Our Requirements Well organised, determined, driven, efficient and personable with a good, confident telephone manner. Based at our Leeds operation, you must be willing to travel to support Timberpak Washington as required. After training, you will understand the Waste Hierarchy and European Waste Catalogue Wood Classification codes. Intermediate standard of IT skills, with knowledge of databases and competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). Experience of working in a sales role is preferred, however if you have solid knowledge of the waste wood industry you application would be considered.
