Robert Half are currently partnering with a client based in Tewkesbury, who currently have a requirement for an interim Senior Accountant to join them immediately.
The role has been created due to a restructure which was required due to recent growth.

Day rate: Up to £400 per day
No hybrid working - 5 days per week onsite in Tewkesbury.
You will be responsible for:
1. Strategic Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
2. Advanced Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and insightful commentary to support strategic decision-making.
3. KPI Monitoring and Optimisation: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and profitability across different business units and jurisdictions.
4. Comprehensive Cost-Benefit Analysis: Conduct thorough cost-benefit analysis for various projects and initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation and maximising return on investment.
5. Regulatory Compliance and Financial Statements: Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
6. Internal Controls and Risk Management: Support the development and implementation of robust internal controls and risk management processes to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
7. Industry Trends and Regulatory Updates: Stay abreast of industry trends, accounting regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and drive continuous process improvements.
8. Financial Guidance and Cross-Functional Support: Provide expert financial guidance and support to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of financial literacy, accountability, and strategic thinking.
9. Multicurrency Financial Management: Manage and oversee the financial reporting and budgeting processes involving multiple currencies, ensuring accurate translation and consolidation of financial data.
10. Excel Expertise and Financial Modelling: Utilise advanced Excel skills to develop complex financial models, automate reporting processes, and conduct detailed data analysis to support strategic initiatives.
