CloudPay is looking for an experienced Manager,UK Payroll. This is a fantastic opportunity for a payroll leader to thrive in a fast-paced enviroment.
The primary goal of the UK Payroll Manager is to manage and lead the UK payroll operations team, to deliver timely and accurate payroll services to the UK Payroll customers within CloudPay.
Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:
• Manage the UK Payroll operations team, with direct management of those staff in the UK and indirect management for those in the PII team (Philippines)
• Have overall responsibility for the allocation and processing of Payrolls for UK customers, and for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payrolls. Close monitoring of the productivity of the team will be required.
• Be responsible for performance management of the team and be able to drive operational excellence (Quality of the delivery: SLA… and Quality of the interaction: Tickets…) and facilitate upskilling and a learning culture.
• Ensure Supervisors and Processors are best positioned for Service delivery to Clients with operational issues, including customer reviews, implementation issues and product teams.
• Proactively manage Customer relations avoiding any unnecessary escalation to the EMEA Payroll Director and ensuring Service Reviews are held as required,
• Interview and Hiring for new team members, and assist with onboarding and training to ensure the team is properly skilled throughout the employee life cycle,
• Act as a backup to Supervisors during their absence on payroll processing issues.
• Handle all payroll matters and queries from clients on time and be viewed by Clients as a facilitator to support Service Delivery and as a reliable and actionable escalation point.
• Co-operate with other departments within CloudPay seeking continuous improvement and strengthening the One CloudPay image for Customers.
Attributes and Experience Required:
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Payroll processing.
• Experience in supervising and managing a team.
• Experience in dealing with customer escalations.
• Strong knowledge of UK statutory legislation.
• Project management.
• Knowledge management and precise document management skills
• High level of problem-solving and solution-focused

• Confident in managing internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
