Were working on behalf of a leading Occupational Health provider to recruit an experienced and dynamicDeputy Medical Director. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, forward-thinking physician who thrives in both clinical and strategic leadership roles.
You'll be instrumental in guiding the clinical direction of the service, deputising for the Medical Director and ensuring high-quality delivery across operations, client relationships, and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical leadership across Occupational Health services
* Act as Deputy to the Medical Director, ensuring continuity of service and communication
* Deliver a range of clinical services including medical assessments and management referrals
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the service
* Represent the organisation in client meetings and support account management
* Mentor and support clinical teams across locations
* Contribute to strategic planning and senior management discussions
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and SEQOHS standards
* Support integration of digital OH systems
About You:
* GMC registered with licence to practice in the UK
* Experienced Occupational Health Physician
* DOccMed / AFOM / MFOM preferred
* Strong leadership, mentoring and interpersonal skills
* Confident working across multidisciplinary teams and with external stakeholders
* Excellent IT proficiency and familiarity with OH systems
* Willingness to travel to Aberdeen during the early months of the role
