We are working with a long-standing, reputable, and established Main Contractor who works throughout the Lancashire region, specialising in Education and Healthcare projects alongside commercial/leisure projects.
The company works on a number of long-term frameworks and has a healthy pipeline of future work. They work on both refurbishment and New Build projects.
They are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This role will involve working on refurbishment & New Build Extensions to a Hospital.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the development of the procurement programme.
2. Manage the selection of sub-contractors.
3. Manage site personnel, work activities, and resources to meet the requirements of individual contracts.
4. Monitor budget.
5. Develop a programme, monitor progress, and ensure the contracts are delivered on time.
6. Ensure contracts comply with Health, Safety, and Welfare requirements.
7. Ensure site personnel (including visitors) are aware of their own Health, Safety, and Welfare requirements.
8. Manage the identification of site hazards and ensure assessments and risk control methods are implemented.
9. Ensure the performance of reporting staff is monitored through regular appraisals and reviews.
10. Ensure identified individual development/training needs are met.
11. Maintain the trust and support of reporting personnel.
12. Support individuals who have problems that may affect their performance.
13. Manage/implement procedures on Recruitment, Discipline, and Grievance.
Requirements:
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career background and have a strong background in Public Sector/Commercial/Healthcare refurbishment & new build projects.
The salary on offer is up to £55k plus car allowance and package, depending on your experience.
