Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service’s (HIWFRS) Communications team is currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Internal Engagement Officer to work as part of the internal communications team. This role is essential for ensuring continuous engagement with our colleagues on important changes that help deliver our core purpose. It is also responsible for delivering our recognition strategy that aims to make colleagues feel valued for their contribution.
In this new and exciting role, you will be an energetic self-starter, working closely with the Internal Communications Manager to deliver all internal engagement and recognition activities for HIWFRS. You will play an integral role in reviewing the Service’s employee forums and develop our plans to use surveys and feedback channels to measure employee engagement and satisfaction.
You will have significant experience of working on engagement activities, including change projects that require effective communication and engagement to help deliver and embed the change. You will be skilled at building relationships with stakeholders at all levels and demonstrate experience of planning, facilitating and evaluating engagement activities such as forums, workshops and surveys.
