About the role
The Plumbing, Heating and Gas department are now looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced trainer to join the well-established team. This is a fast-paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with other Programme Leaders and the Head of Area to provide high quality training and assessment for new and existing engineers wishing to requalify and upskill their current qualifications.
The successful candidate will deliver training courses to the highest possible standards which meet industry standards and develop and support engineers to build on their existing skills and knowledge. Positively contribute to the delivery teams targets and work collaboratively with relevant internal and external stakeholders to achieve the highest possible outcomes.
About the person
The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 Plumbing, Heating and Gas (or equivalent). You will need to be confident, self-motivated and be able to engage positively with all types of learners with varying degrees of ability. You must be highly organized, able to multi-task and be people-oriented. You must be approachable and professionally presented.
You will also need:
* Relevant teaching experience and knowledge, including possession of a training qualification, PTLLS, AET or equivalent, and relevant teaching experience.
* Possession of an assessing qualification, TAQA level 3 or equivalent.
* Possession of TAQA 4 or equivalent significant relevant industry knowledge and experience (Gas and renewable systems).
* A full UK driving licence.
