An award-winning international law firm is looking to recruit for a Marketing and Business Development Manager for their IP and Technology group. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work on exciting global projects in one of the firm’s most exciting sectors. This role will lead across marketing and BD for the group, working to enhance the firm’s profile with clients globally, to win profitable business.
The Responsibilities:
* Work closely with partners to develop strategic business development initiatives.
* Develop key client relationships and client targeting programmes in particular with a view to increase cross-selling opportunities within the Group and the wider firm.
* Create and execute targeted marketing campaigns and deliver events designed to raise the firm’s profile and bring in new business.
* Manage the production of client content from concept through to distribution.
* Lead on sector pitch opportunities, including reacting to opportunities and strategic planned approaches.
* Work closely with the knowledge team to develop thought leadership pieces and identify methods of bringing value to clients.
* Develop the group’s client listening programme to identify and convert opportunities.
* Advise on pitch qualification and strategy, help prepare pitch documents, manage rehearsals for new business pitches and perform pitch debriefs.
* Identify and organise networking and profile raising opportunities for the lawyers with clients and prospects, such as seminars and webinars.
The Candidate:
* A deep knowledge of marketing & BD processes for professional services.
* Experience working on a global scale is desirable.
* Sector knowledge in IP, Cyber or Data Protection is desirable.
* Degree educated.
