The Role
As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will be progressing clinical negligence claims for pursuers. This will involve pre-litigation work and litigating in the All Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court and Court of Session.
Our Solicitors are required to work individually and within a team to support the wider needs of the department and the business as a whole. You should be comfortable providing practical and legal advice to clients with care and compassion. Additionally, you will be required to undertake Court advocacy and to instruct both Counsel and expert witnesses. Your caseload will give you the opportunity to handle a wide variety of cases such as delayed diagnosis, hospital negligence, GP claims, surgical negligence, birth injury cases, and fatal accidents.
