Are you an experienced Nursery Practitioner looking to progress in your career? Or are you a current Nursery Manager looking for a fresh opportunity?
About us
Nestled within the grounds of Prior Pursglove College, Guisborough Montessori offers the highest standards of childcare delivered by education specialists who are wholeheartedly committed to the well-being and development of the children in their care.
We provide care to children up to four years old, including our dedicated baby room which was praised in our last Oftsed report. Our garden space provides opportunities for digging and lifting, and our dedicated staff use other opportunities such as musical movement classes to give them time to bend and stretch whilst developing a love of music too.
Our excellent facilities extend beyond our nursery; through our excellent partnership with Prior Pursglove College as part of the Tees Valley Collaborative Trust and Tees Valley Collaborative Enterprises Ltd, we have access to the sports hall, and use this for developing gross motor skills such as running, jumping, climbing and balancing. We also regularly utilise local facilities such as parks, museums, and farms.
In keeping with Montessori principles, we encourage children to find their “inner teacher” to explore their world and develop new skills in a carefully prepared environment for learning and play. We use curiosity to build upon a child’s understanding of the world, preparing them for each stage of their learning journey. We are a friendly, welcoming nursery that prides itself on equality and inclusion that builds creative and confident learners.
