Company Information:
For over 40 years, Cloud One has been offering dynamic Technical Production Services and Equipment Rental to the arts, corporate, and local authorities in The Midlands, UK + Worldwide.
Our team is made up of experienced project managers and technicians that cover a wide range of disciplines including Sound, Lighting, AV, Staging, Set Design, and Site Power.
Hours:
40 hours per week, generally, 09:00 AM - 17:30 PM (includes a half-hour lunch break), plus overtime as required outside that. Overtime may be on a paid or time off in lieu arrangement dependent on workload, time of year, etc.
Salary:
Starting at £12.21 per hour - £25,396.80 per annum plus overtime.
Benefits & Perks:
You are entitled to 20 days of holiday per year + 1 day of holiday for each year worked at Cloud One (capped at 25 days plus Bank holidays). Usually, 3 or 4 of these days should be reserved for use in between Christmas and New Year (which are statutory paid bank holidays).
Purpose of the Job:
1. To provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the organisation.
2. To handle a variety of tasks, including managing office systems, coordinating schedules, maintaining records, and supporting team members with day-to-day administrative needs.
3. Handle Dry & Wet hire enquiries as required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that all tasks are completed effectively by their deadlines and assist management in their tasks including but not limited to:
2. Preparing, organizing, and storing information in digital and paper formats. This can include maintaining/updating paper and computer records.
3. Handling incoming and outgoing communications such as phone calls, email queries, and liaising with staff in other departments.
4. Booking crew, transport & subhire of equipment shortages for events.
5. Ensure tracking & monitoring systems are adhered to.
6. On-site event support as & when required.
7. Deliveries and collections to and from clients and suppliers in the company vehicle(s) including purchased goods.

Knowledge and Experience:
1. Knowledge of the events industry.
2. Prior employment in an office environment.
3. Applicants that have had customer-facing jobs and are used to maintaining a calm and professional demeanor even in high-pressure situations.
4. Full driving licence.
