Come and join our forward thinking, dynamic Acute Dietetic Team - we are seeking a Band 5 Dietitian for 12 months fixed term at Bronglais General Hospital in Aberystwyth. A great opportunity to develop your acute dietetic skills and knowledge.
You will join a small, friendly team working as an integral member of the wider MDT on the site, with opportunities to develop your skills and gain experience in general surgery, gastroenterology and stroke. The role includes delivery of outpatient clinics. You will be supported by the wider Health Board acute team, work alongside our Clinical Nurse Specialist in Nutrition team, and with support from Dietetic Assistant Practitioners.
We offer good support, a welcoming environment and well-established clinical support and supervision links with the wider acute team across the Health Board.
Main duties of the job
We offer the opportunity to develop your experience, knowledge and skills in specialist areas including mental health, paediatrics, oncology, weight management and diabetes. You will work with a friendly supportive team, be networked for clinical practice development and peer support with colleagues across the Health Board and benefit from a robust clinical supervision structure.

Person Specification
Qualifications and knowledge
* Recognised Degree in Dietetics with state registration
* HCPC registration
* Demonstrates consolidated clinical dietetic knowledge and skills in the field of adult Dietetics
* Demonstrates good knowledge of and ability to apply evidence base in relation to dietetic practice and development of practice
* Demonstrates effective organisational skills including prioritisation of workload and effective caseload management
* Knowledge of current and emerging evidence base, national and professional policy, guidance and best practice
* Well established teaching and presentation skills
* Recognised IT qualification
Other
* Flexible Approach to the needs of the service
* Ability to travel across the Health Board in a timely manner
