Our Computing Department is dynamic and forward-thinking, comprising a Head of Department and two experienced teachers, delivering Enterprise, IT, and Computing/Computer Science. At Key Stage 4, students follow the OCR Computer Science specification, and at Key Stage 5 the department is focussed on delivering the very best T-Levels. The department is integral to our students' development, nurturing their technological skills and preparing them for future career pathways.
The Role
As a Teacher of Computer Science, you will:
1. Deliver engaging and high-quality Computing lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop a love for technology and problem-solving.
2. Contribute to a broad and balanced curriculum that prepares students for OCR Computer Science at KS4.
3. Collaborate with the Head of Faculty and Senior Leadership, to drive achievement and raise standards in the department.
4. Support initiatives to increase the uptake of Computing at KS4 and beyond.
