Business Support Administrator Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week, with access to a flexible time scheme Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £26,106 per annum, rising with service up to £28,653 A new police station in Milton, Camvridegshire, is due to be completed in Autumn 2025 whereby the team will move across into the new premises. We are excited to be working with Cambridgeshire Police who are currently recruiting for a Business Support Administrator to join their team. What will you be responsible for? Business Support Administrator, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Working as part of a small team with other Business Support members and reporting to the Business Support Team Leader, you will be responsible for helping to ensure the smooth running of the department with duties including: Raising purchase orders for goods and services and administration of petty cash Maintaining accurate records of equipment allocation Health and Safety administration Assisting officers with access to equipment, supplies and services to ensure that they are fully equipped and deployable. This will include moving, transporting, auditing, and storing of items and equipment and dealing with deliveries Providing general administrative support to Local Policing across the southern county area What do you need? Business Support Administrator, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire Experience in the use of IT and a good working knowledge of Microsoft and M365 Experience working in a busy office environment Experience of working as part of a team Ability to demonstrate the provision of excellent customer service Ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to prioritise effectively Additional Information The role will be solely office-based, and there may be the occasional requirement to travel to other police stations within the south of the County to provide administration support, including the HQ in Huntingdon.
