Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Secretary / Administrator based at Ailsa Hospital .
What you will do:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Secretary / Administrator to provide a robust support service to the Mass Vaccination Programme Team in NHS Ayrshire & Arran, specifically supporting the Travel Health & Non-Routine services. You will bring skills in all secretarial and administration tasks with a problem solving and “can do” approach.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
1. SVQ Level III in Business Administration or equivalent experience
2. High standard of literacy and numerical skills, educated to ‘O’ Grade / Standard Grade Credit / National 5 in English
3. Recognised IT qualification in Microsoft Office Packages
4. Excellent communication skills both written / verbal
5. Advanced keyboard skills
6. Minute Taking experience
7. Experience in electronic diary management
8. Electronic filing systems management
9. Proven secretarial experience of working at a senior level
10. Experience of working within an NHS environment
11. Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook and PowerPoint

Hours:
This post is 26.2 hours per week worked over 4 days (Tuesday – Friday) based at Turnberry, Main Building, Ailsa Hospital.
Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
A car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
