The Role
Reporting to the General Manager UK and responsible for leading and developing a team of dedicated commercial and engineering experts across EMEA to build upon existing customer relationships and establish new ones.
You will be experienced in authoring a business plan that delivers company growth, leading and growing your direct reports alongside building successful relationships across the organisation and positively influencing customer stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Author the EMEA business plan in line with the company’s ambitions and strategic objectives.
* Engage and motivate the commercial team around the business plan and develop clear goals and expectations for each team member.
* Actively manage, mentor, and develop team members aligned to the business plan and company mission.
* Lead and instil a cultural commitment to excellence in customer service throughout the team.
* Actively lead customer dialogue and build relationships with decision makers and influencers within existing and target companies.
* Strengthen existing customer relationships to enhance retention and maximise long-term value.
* Identify and unlock new customer opportunities to drive company growth and build market share.
* Inspire the team and the broader organisation as a cultural ambassador and work to develop individual development plans that fuel team retention and growth.
* Develop dialogue and successful working relationships across company departments and territories.
* Build established networks with partner organisations where appropriate.
* Actively participate in leadership forums in the company, both taking ownership for your direct area of responsibility and contributing to overall strategic planning.
Requirements
* Proven experience in B2B sales leadership in high value processing machinery solutions across the EMEA region.
* Extensive experience in leading and managing successful B2B commercial teams across varied geographies.
* Strong team leadership, coaching and development skills.
* Ability to engage and positively influence customers and target organisations at a senior level.
* A true commitment to building trusted connections with colleagues across the business and in partner organisations.
* Based in the UK, there will be extensive travel within the region as team or customer needs dictate.
