PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Organisational Change Manager helps employees smoothly adapt to new projects and changes within the company. They focus on how updates to systems, processes, and technology affect the team, and create plans to make the adoption of changes easier. By encouraging the quick adoption of new tools and methods, you aim to boost the company's success. You will also train senior managers to support their teams, ensuring everyone gets the help they need during changes. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties are many and varied, but the list below is considered to be the basic requirement: Assessing Impact: Partnering with stakeholders to evaluate the impact of change initiatives and identifying areas for improvement. Document impact assessments within projects and work with the business to reach consensus on the best options for GRS. Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business units to gather and document detailed business and project requirements. Review and document 'As-Is' business processes. Design future business processes and operating models. Stakeholder Communication: Creating and implementing communication and engagement plans to support successful change initiatives. Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and issues. Project Implementation: Oversee the implementation of project deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards and business requirements. Training and Support: Coaching managers and team members to help them support teams during transitions. Monitoring Progress: Developing measurement systems to track the adoption, utilization, and proficiency of changes. Identifying, managing, and mitigating risks associated with change initiatives. Providing leadership and guidance to project teams and stakeholders throughout the project. Facilitating Workshops: Conducting change management meetings and workshops to prepare employees for upcoming changes. Transition to Business as Usual: Ensure smooth handover of project deliverables to operational teams, providing necessary training and support. Conduct post-project benefits analysis to ensure objectives are met. Adherence to GRS Project Lifecycle: Ensure all projects adhere to the GRS Project Lifecycle processes and standards. Responsibility for compliance and discharging legal duties with regards to HR and Health & Safety to promote a safe, equitable and legally compliant work place. KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB: Experience: At least 5 years of experience in corporate change management or a related field. Experience in managing change initiatives, working with stakeholders, and implementing change management strategies. Experience in Business-unit integration. Certification: Change management certification (such as Prosci Change Management Certification, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), or similar) credentials is beneficial but not mandatory. Skills: Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Attributes: Strong communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with everyone within the organisation, from individual team members to Executives Project management skills to ensure successful delivery of change programmes within GRS. Agile and problem solving mindset to ensure we are able to quickly identify existing and potential problems and then coming up with solutions. Strong interpersonal skills to influence others of the validity of the proposed changes and plans is crucial for the role. Strategic thinker to ensure that changes have value now and in the future. All changes must be for the good of the company and align to our corporate objectives and values. Location: The successful applicant must be able to travel to GRS offices at Nuneaton, Tilbury, Houghton Regis on a regular basis and to Cornwall on an adhoc basis.
