We are currently looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and qualified Associate Director to join our team.
Qualifications:
* AMI/MACTE Diploma and/or Registered Early Childhood Education Certification
* A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
* Montessori teaching experience mandatory
* Good working knowledge of “How Does Learning Happen” and/or Montessori Curriculum
* Current and clear Criminal Reference & Vulnerable Sector Checks
* Valid CPR/First Aid certification - Level C
* Updated Immunization Record

Job Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership to all staff and assist them with effective implementation of Montessori curriculum and other programming
* Develop and maintain relationships with families, children, and staff
* Ensure the school consistently meets the Region, Ministry of Education, and Public Health compliance requirements
* Create, maintain, and update required daily, monthly, and annual documentation, children and staff records as required by the Region and Ministry of Education
* Organize and lead staff meetings
* Prepare weekly schedules for all staff and ensure ratios are always met
* Provide orientation and training to newly hired staff
* Coordinate school events such as concerts, workshops, and field trips
* Oversee and ensure classroom supplies and materials are adequately stocked at all times
* Answer all phone, email, and in-person inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
* Prioritize and address all parent concerns promptly and escalate to the Director when required
* Liaise with staff, parents, students, the wider community, prospective families, and educational associations
* Implement a program for promoting the School to grow enrollments and conducting tours of the facility
* Implement a program to further develop an understanding of Montessori principles
* Organize and maintain the school’s internal and external communications e.g., newsletter, parent handbook, school website, social media, marketing, and advertising
* Network, develop, and foster good relationships with the wider community
* Liaise with relevant governmental and non-governmental agencies
* Maintain confidentiality regarding financial matters, student and family records, and information shared in private with the Foundress
* Provide assistance in the classrooms/other areas of the school as required
* Assist in the school’s marketing initiatives to build enrollment
* Ensure smooth day-to-day center operations
* Provide assistance with payroll and parent fee reporting requirements
* Ensure other required monthly reporting requirements are met
* Other responsibilities as assigned
