Good Afternoon,
I am currently representing West Sussex Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate of £319.11 per day which is negotiable dependent upon experience.
We are looking for a Senior Procurement Systems Analyst. This role will be based in PO19 1RQ (Hybrid 1 day in the office).
The right candidate will:
1. Be the system lead/advisor for our eProcurement system Atamis Procurement Software, particularly with technical/system admin experience of the Tender Management and Contract Management modules.
2. Act as the primary contact in relation to all procurement systems that the organisation uses.
3. Work as part of the wider procurement team and take a lead project role in the planning, development, and administration of procurement IT systems, collecting, managing, and maintaining a consistent and accurate set of data within the system solutions.
4. Lead, support, develop, and implement system strategies that optimise performance for the business in terms of cost, quality, delivery, governance, and responsiveness.
5. Ensure all systems operate to agreed service levels, and be the primary interface for strategic system developments and configuration, system interfaces with other external technology platforms, and lead stakeholders in best practices.
We require the following:
1. Educated to degree standard in a business, IT, mathematics, or equivalent discipline.
2. Procurement Reforms Practitioner certification or working towards practitioner certification in the GCC Contract Management Programme.
3. Working towards MCIPS / willing to study MCIPS – Desirable.
4. Expertise in CLM systems functionality, purpose, and use within a council/public sector environment.
5. Knowledge and experience of UK procurement processes, including using Crown Commercial Services or other Local Authority external frameworks.
6. Experience of working with procurement and contract management platforms and systems, engaging with peers and stakeholders at all levels.
7. Knowledge of Source to Contract and Purchase to Pay processes in the public sector.
