I'm currently working with and on behalf of my client to secure a qualified, highly skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator/Coachbuilder for their workshop in the Kent area.

You can expect to be situated in a positive and vibrant working environment where your efforts will be rewarded. A skills shortage can be trained by way of upskilling. What cannot be trained, however, is the right attitude and the desire to give your clients a first-class service.
You will be carrying out fabrication to a varied and diverse fleet of vehicles. The type of work you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to):
1. Chassis repairs
2. Vehicle servicing and maintenance
3. Body building and body repairs
4. Riveting, bolting, cutting, shaping, bending
5. Fabricating predominantly from steel
6. Correction of running defects
7. Chassis and fabrication work
8. TIG and MIG welding
9. Hydraulic work
10. MOT preparation
Requirements:
Ideally, you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent in welding and/or fabrication. Time served will also be considered, especially if the skills and experience have been obtained within the automotive industry.
