Deans Solicitors and Estate Agents LLP is a busy legal and property business with offices in Edinburgh and South Queensferry. We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our Property Team as a Property Assistant in our Head Office at 3 St Patrick Street, Edinburgh. Previous property experience is preferred but not essential.
This is a wide-ranging, front of house role that includes a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
1. Dealing with client/buyer queries in person and on the phone
2. Answering incoming calls and diverting calls where necessary
3. Arranging viewings
4. Obtaining viewer feedback
5. Responding to general enquiries
6. Updating and maintaining Buyers’ Database
7. Key management
8. Dealing with incoming/outgoing mail
9. General admin tasks to support the wider property team
Desired skills include:
1. Positive can-do attitude
2. Team working – working closely with colleagues across the property and legal teams to deliver efficient and smooth service to clients
3. Excellent customer service and sales skills
4. Ability to manage own workload and prioritise time sensitive tasks
5. High level of attention to detail
6. Confidence in liaising with clients by email, phone or in-person
7. Willingness to learn and upskill
8. Basic IT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel
