With a profitable and consistent record, the Company has invested heavily in Engineering and Product Development and is now about to enter its next exciting phase of growth.It is in this thriving context that a high calibre and dynamic Finance professional is now required to assume ownership and overall responsibility for the Company’s financial processes and controls. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead and mentor a highly capable Finance team, and will provide the rest of the Board with developed, detailed and proactive insight into all business opportunities and projects as they arise. Crucial to your success, will be your ability to develop robust reporting systems that will meet the demands/increased complexity of a Business entering a significant growth programme. This is a key role on the Board and you will be expected to make an important contribution as regards the future direction of the Business.Suitable candidates will be qualified and commercially-rounded Finance Professionals with experience of working in a manufacturing environment, likely already operating at Finance Director level – although ambitious Controllers/Managers seeking their first Board appointment may also be considered. Financially & commercially astute, you will possess an excellent working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems. A motivational & empathetic team manager, you will possess the inter-personal skills necessary to communicate effectively with non-finance professionals at all levels, both externally and within the Organisation.
