Senior Planner Job or Associate Town Planner job available in North Yorkshire with an established rural consultancy focused on planning and design work across the UK. Offering a salary of up to £60,000 plus extensive benefits and hybrid/flexible working!
This established planning and design consultancy, with over 20 years of experience and a team of 50+ experts, specialises in enhancing the countryside through high-quality projects. With their office based in Skipton, surrounded by the lush landscapes of North Yorkshire, offering an inspiring setting for creative minds.
The practice focuses on high-end residential, country estates, and commercial developments, delivering sustainable and modern solutions across the UK. They're now looking to appoint a Senior Planner or Associate Planner with rural experience to join their collaborative team on a permanent basis.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Lead consultancy projects to develop strategies and delivery plans for managing and developing rural land and property for rural enterprise.
2. Conduct research, compile evidence, and appraise findings to provide informed advice to clients.
3. Oversee project delivery, including leading multi-disciplinary teams, conducting analysis, and producing high-quality reports and presentations.
4. Manage projects, either as a leader or team member, ensuring timely and effective execution.
5. Build and maintain client relationships, handle enquiries, and identify business development opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience
1. Chartered Town Planner.
2. Degree qualified in Town Planning or similar.
3. Proven experience in private practice consultancy.
4. Experience working on rural projects, estates, and land.
5. Client-facing and business development experience.
6. Strategic approach to planning related matters.
