Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Royalties Data Entry Specialist to join our team at a reputable Music Agency. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate royalty processing and distribution for our clients, which include music creators, publishers, and rights holders. Responsibilities:
* Accurately input and maintain data related to music rights and royalty distributions in our databases.
* Process royalty statements and assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
* Support data analysis efforts to determine royalty allocations and usage trends.
* Stay informed about developments in copyright law, royalty regulations, and industry trends.
* Provide support to music creators and rights owners, helping them understand their royalty statements and earnings.
Requirements:
* Familiarity with music rights, copyright management, and royalty distribution processes is highly preferred.
* Experience using Maestro Music software (preferred).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling large data sets.
* Proficient in data entry, with excellent organizational skills.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach.
* Experience with database management systems and financial analysis tools is a plus.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
* An educational background in music business, copyright law, or a related field is advantageous.
