We are looking for someone who will be working in conjunction with the SalesHub lead and group commercial team. You will become a product specialist along with our commercial processes. You will introduce and manage proactive development in spot quotes, increasing quotation enquiries and gains leading to shipment number increase across the UK, improving conversion rates & gross margin along with the proactive implementation of our IT Solutions Freight Portal - Weborder.
This will be managed by full engagement with direct customers promoting the Rhenus strengths and services.
Responsibilities:
* Understand and implement Rhenus road commercial defined process and best practices.
* Generate new opportunities for group/branch through telesales and spot quoting.
* Provide customers with accurate and cost-effective quotations in writing and follow up verbally.
* Engage and develop the existing client base in market and shipment volume.
* Communicate client onboarding to branch customer service department.
* Record sales activity in the company CRM system.
* Achieve given targets as directed by management.
* Support acquisition of new business through a consistent presence, structured & targeted actions, and follow up.
* Promote and develop services within a defined branch/requirement.
* Identify new business and cross-selling opportunities.
* Maintain appropriate knowledge of the competition and marketplace.
* Perform any other tasks deemed commensurate with the role.
