Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire a team of talented engineers across electrical, software, and mechanical disciplines.
* Drive the development of innovative new products from concept to launch.
* Manage projects with precision – balancing quality, cost, and timelines using structured methodologies.
* Champion best practices in project delivery, applying frameworks like PRINCE2 or Agile to keep everything on track.
* Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams, ensuring technical and commercial success.
* Mentor and grow your team – creating an environment that supports development, creativity, and accountability.
* Contribute strategically – working closely with senior leadership on long-term engineering and product roadmaps.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
* A proven track record in engineering project delivery – you get things done and make it look easy.
* Leadership experience – you’ve led teams, managed performance, and know how to get the best from people.
* A background in electrical or software engineering is ideal, but your ability to manage and inspire people and projects is what really counts.
* Strong project management skills with experience in PRINCE2, Agile, or other structured delivery frameworks.
· A clear communicator with a strategic mindset and the ability to influence at all levels.
Benefits
In return we are offering:
* A competitive salary up to £77,926.00 per annum depending on skills and experience.
* Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40-hours per week.
* Annual leave entitlement of 33 days including bank holidays, increasing with length of service.
* Entry into the Group Personal Pension scheme upon successful completion of probation with employer contributions of 7%, also increasing with length of service.
