Our client is an independently owned hardware distributor who has been trading successfully for over 70 years. They are looking for an experienced Sales Manager within the window and door hardware industry who has experience with building, coaching and managing a team of sales professionals.
The role responsibilities:
* Seek out major clients and forge string working relationships while seeking out exciting new opportunities.
* Devise, develop and execute sales strategies
* Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals
* Ensure the team maintains a strong and consistent revenue stream, while tracking progress and ensuring sales are closed successfully.
* Accompany the Regional Sales Managers on sales calls and client meetings to the company’s larger accounts, to support and enhance these key customer relationships.
Candidate’s skills & experience:
* Proven success in sales leadership, ideally in the window, door, or construction hardware sector.
* Exceptional people management skills – you know how to motivate, coach, and develop a winning team.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
* A passion for innovation and a keen eye for market opportunities.
