Marketing Manager
Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer
We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing technology company based in Manchester city centre. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of the marketing plan, helping the commercial team accelerate business growth.
The Role
Reporting to the CCO, and working with the Campaign Manager, Marketing Executive, and Senior Data Executive, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering the marketing strategy, with a particular focus on campaigns that generate new leads for the sales team. This is a hands-on role, requiring involvement in all areas of the marketing process - from planning and execution to performance reporting. Strong organisational skills are essential to thrive in this fast-paced, award-winning, investment-backed company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver the agreed marketing strategy
* Manage marketing budgets and resources
* Reporting on monthly performance to the Senior Management Team
* Management of the team (to include weekly one to one sessions)
* Oversee and support daily marketing operations
* Maintain marketing data and systems
* Plan and support the execution of email and social media campaigns
* Event organisation
* Write and edit copy for award entries, blogs, customer case studies, and other marketing materials
* Coordinate with designers and agencies when needed.
External Relationship Management
* Manage partnerships and memberships
* Oversee supplier and agencies relationships
The Candidate
This role is ideal for someone with experience in B2B marketing who is looking for a position with autonomy, creative input, and responsibility. Experience in marketing data management and digital campaigns is an advantage, but a broad understanding of various marketing activities is essential to drive business growth effectively. The ideal candidate will be proactive and hands-on, with a positive attitude and a strong ability to collaborate.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Broad knowledge of traditional and digital B2B marketing activities
* Experience in delivering direct marketing campaigns and reporting on performance
* Strong relationship-building and organisational skills
* Strong attention to detail and high standards
* A proactive, dedicated, team-oriented approach
* Ability to work collaboratively with other departments, particularly sales
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Experience with HubSpot (preferred but not essential)
* Adobe design experience (preferred but not essential)
