About the Role
As Samples Administrator you will
* Be responsible for managing the distribution of samples to customers and internal teams
* Ensure that requests for samples are processed efficiently and accurately, aligning with customer expectations and project timelines
* Work closely with cross-functional teams including Customer Support, Sales, Lead Generation, Marketing and Manufacturing teams to maintain stock levels, track shipments and provide excellent customer service throughout the sample request process
* Process sample requests from customers and internal teams. Monitor sample stock levels samples and work with our manufacturing teams to ensure sample requests can be met or alternatives can be suggested. Assist in forecasting sample demand based on sales trends and customer needs
* Liaise with customers to understand their sample requirements and provide appropriate solutions. Address any questions or concerns regarding sample deliveries, lead times, or availability. Track and follow up on sample deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the sales team to prioritise sample requests based on customer needs and project deadlines. Provide status updates and track sample orders through to completion
* Analyse process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of sample distribution whilst evaluating user experience improvements. Identify any issues related to sample availability, quality, or customer feedback.
* Analyse sample data and produce monthly/quarterly reports and ad hoc reports as required
Hours of Work: 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday
About You
Prior experience in logistics, sales support, or customer service is preferred and a familiarity with the construction, building materials, or brick industry is a plus.
You will also have/be:
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective customer interactions
* Attention to detail
* Problem-solving abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with order processing systems such as SAP
* Team player with a proactive attitude
* Organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
* Structured approach and desire to achieve high-quality standards plus be well organised and detail oriented
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
