As an Unqualified Teacher with Academics, you will have the opportunity for flexible supply work within a variety of secondary schools across the Wirral. You will be responsible for providing class cover in the absence of the usual class teacher.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain a positive learning environment
2. Manage classroom behaviour and promote a culture of respect and inclusivity
3. Provide support to students with their learning and educational activities
4. Collaborate with teaching staff and follow lesson plans
5. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements
6. Manage classroom behaviour following the schools' policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements:
1. Degree qualified or hold a Teaching Assistant qualification OR have experience working with and supporting children and/or young adults
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3. A passion for education and a desire to make an impact on young people's lives
4. A flexible and adaptable approach to work in various school settings
5. The ability to manage and motivate students effectively
6. Enthusiasm, resilience, and a positive attitude towards teaching and learning
