Overview: Working closely with our client, an established mould toolmaker and injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer / Account Manager to join their team and support continued business growth.
Remit:
1. This position will suit a technically biased Account Manager or Project Engineer with good knowledge of injection mould tooling and manufacturing.
2. The successful candidate will have a clear development and progression plan with opportunity to become a member of the management team as part of the company growth and succession planning.

Role:
1. As Technical Sales Engineer you will work to manage new tooling and transfer tooling projects from initial enquiry through to production.
2. In the role of Technical Sales Engineer, you will represent the company in meetings with customers both over the phone and face to face.
3. The successful Technical Sales Engineer will manage all commercial issues relating to product pricing and new project costings.
4. Acting as the first point of contact for RFQ's, presenting quotes to the customers and negotiating sales price.
5. Overall account management of key customer accounts.
6. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, developments and awareness of new processes.
7. Build strong business relationships with customers and prospective customers.
8. Gain a strong understanding of customers' technical requirements to be able to develop and present design engineering solutions.
9. Representing the company at trade shows, exhibitions and networking events.
10. Identifying and pursuing new business leads and opportunities.
11. Generating new business enquiries through direct outreach methods.
12. Review and develop the company sales and marketing approach.
13. Review of pricing to grow margin and minimize the impact of inflation.
Experience Requirements:
1. Candidates MUST HAVE experience within injection moulding manufacturing / toolmaking.
2. Technical understanding of injection mould tooling.
3. Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
4. Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
5. Good negotiation skills.
6. Project management skills.
