Scrapping the CV & our hiring process
We won’t be asking for your CV for this role. Why? Because your potential can’t be packed into a side of A4. To get to know you – the real you – we’ll ask you to complete some basic registration questions and our task-based assessment instead. This gives us a much better feel for how you’ll fit into the role, taking into account all the qualities that make you, you. If you successfully match the criteria for the role we will invite you to a video interview. If you pass this stage the final stage will be an ‘on the job’ assessment and a final interview.
Our deadline for completion of the basic registration questions and our task-based assessment is midnight on 30th March 2025.
We’ll review your application after the deadline has passed. Therefore, please expect to hear from us about whether your application has been successful by the 4th April 2025.
Successful candidates will be invited for a first-round video interview after 4th April 2025. We hope to hold final round interviews on 14th, 15th and 16th April and hope to make an offer before the Easter Holiday weekend.
If you’ve got any questions about the process at all, we’re all ears!

How to use GenAI throughout our process
We value authenticity and want to understand who you are, your experiences, and what you bring to the table.
Enhance your narrative: We welcome the use of GenAI to enhance your narrative and come up with ideas and structure your thoughts, but ensure your answers reflect your personal journey and skills.
For example;
* For interview preparation - use GenAI to help you list relevant skills for the job, and then think about how you've demonstrated these skills in the past or what you would do if you were faced with a similar situation
* If you are asked a question about a time when you overcame a difficult problem, create a shortlist of problems and write down what you would say. Then ask ChatGPT to help you bring the story to life more articulately or to give you a better analogy for something you want to say.
* Leverage GenAI for grammar and spelling checks to polish your application or any preparation or presentations you need to do for the face-to-face stage.
Remember, the goal of using GenAI in your job application is to augment your natural abilities and showcase your best self. It's not about creating a persona that isn't you.
Equal Opportunities: At Arctic Shores, we’re all about opportunity. That’s why we welcome applications from all walks of life, regardless of background, gender identification, race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, neurotype, age, size, style, or marital status. We’ll even consider Marmite-lovers (reluctantly).
Because we’re committed to giving everyone their fair shot, we’re happy to accommodate any reasonable adjustments you may need. Just let us know.
