Tide Partnership is excited to be supporting a reputable, high-quality provider of elderly care services in their search for an experienced Director of Quality. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented clinical leader to join a well-established organisation that is known for its commitment to delivering exceptional care and maintaining the highest standards across its portfolio of care homes.
The Role
As the Director of Quality, you will play a crucial role in driving quality improvement, maintaining compliance, and enhancing resident care across multiple sites. You’ll oversee quality assurance initiatives, support clinical teams, and lead the implementation of clinical strategies to ensure that all homes deliver person-centred care in line with best practices and national standards.
Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):
1. Training & Development: Coach and mentor Clinical Services Managers and Dementia Care Managers, ensuring a strong clinical training programme is implemented and compliance is closely monitored.
2. Quality Care & Compliance: Conduct regular compliance audits and quality reviews to ensure that high standards of care are maintained. Visit each home every six weeks to review care processes and provide actionable feedback.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Serve as the group’s expert on local and national regulations, supporting homes to maintain compliance and respond proactively to any regulatory changes.
4. Strategic & Financial Management: Offer guidance to home leadership on optimising care levels, enhancing resident experience, and managing clinical staffing effectively to drive operational excellence.
5. Recruitment & Retention: Support the recruitment and retention of high-quality clinical staff, ensuring homes are staffed appropriately and positioned as an employer of choice in the sector.

Travel
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will need to be able to travel frequently across the South East region. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
Job Criteria - Essential:
1. Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
2. Extensive clinical/medical knowledge with experience in quality assurance and compliance within a healthcare setting.
3. Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks.
4. Proven experience in conducting audits and developing quality improvement strategies.
5. Excellent planning, communication, and organisational skills.
Job Criteria - Desirable:
1. Dementia qualification or relevant experience in dementia care.
2. Experience in a multi-site management role within the health and social care sector.
3. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to drive quality improvement.
4. Experience in creating and delivering clinical training programmes.
5. Knowledge of best practices in medication management and clinical policy implementation.
