Personal Care Assistant for young woman in Norwich - 5 hours every other Saturday @ £15.00 p/h - Norwich - NR5
Job Purpose
I am a young woman who is non-verbal with Down Syndrome, looking for a care assistant for 5 hours every other week to help encourage me to leave the house for fun activities like swimming, cinema, and trips to the park. To enable us to get out and about, I would need a care assistant with their own car and business insurance and would need help getting in and out of the car.
As this job is five hours a day, I will need help with things like getting dressed and meal preparation. I do not chew my food, so it will need to be chopped up into small pieces for me.
Female PA required due to personal care.

Summary Terms and Conditions
1. The rate of pay for this position is £15.00 per hour
2. Hours and times of work: 5 hrs every other Saturday
3. The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks
4. Free Care Skills training provided to employees
5. If this job requires any of the following: Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemicals, Food Handling, you will be required to undertake annual training.
The post is subject to the following
1. A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
2. Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
3. Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
