We are currently looking for an experienced Customer Service Coordinator to join our friendly team based at our Tarmac Colchester Office. This role is commutable from Colchester, Tiptree, West Mersea, Clacton-on-Sea, Great Bentley, Braintree, Witham, Ipswich, Sudbury, Halstead, Chelmsford and the surrounding areas.

Role Responsibility
You as a Customer Service Coordinator will work cross-functionally within our Customer Service Team; this will primarily include the day-to-day communications with our customers to provide the ‘face’ of Tarmac.
Your role will include (not exhaustive):
* Ensure ownership on all your customer enquiries and orders, telephone and email, from initial contact to resolution.
* Provide each customer with an enjoyable customer service experience, by offering a high level of customer care and attention at all times.
* Complete data entry and sales processing; maintain data entry protocols and carefully record other information throughout your day.
* Collaborate within the team to clarify facts, exchange information, or resolve enquiries and issues.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the business by identifying and taking ownership of opportunities for improvement.
* Input accurate customer data into the CRM system.
* Liaise and communicate regularly with all relevant internal departments including but not limited to Finance, Depot and Purchasing.
* Work as part of a varied team to deliver in-demand products and contribute to the business's profitability.
* Build relationships with key stakeholders in the account base, maintaining regular contact to introduce new products and technologies to customers.
* Develop and demonstrate industry-leading product knowledge by attending training and conducting self-study.
The role of Customer Service Coordinator is a Monday - Friday role with a rostered Saturday AM in rotation (Saturday is worked from home). After successful training, the role is open to an element of rostered hybrid working across the team.
