JOB TITLE: Purchase Ledger Clerk
CONTRACT: Permanent
HOURS: 40 hours per week, 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
START: ASAP
SALARY: Up to £28,500 depending on experience
LOCATION: Poole

The role:
* Process supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently.
* Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
* Resolve discrepancies and queries related to invoices and payments.
* Prepare payment runs and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
* Reconcile supplier statements and manage aged creditor reports.
* Maintain accurate and up to date records of all transactions.
* Assist with month-end closing and reporting.
* Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
What You'll Bring:
* Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
