Venn Group are partnering with a secondary school within a Multi-Academy Trust to recruit for the position of Personal Assistant to Head of School.
This exciting opportunity involves providing confidential administrative and secretarial services to the Head of School and the Senior Leadership Team as well as maintaining a welcoming impression as a potential first point of contact to the school.
Salary: £42,050 - £48,333 per annum
Working Hours: Full-time, 52 weeks per year, 36 hours per week
Location: Surrey
Job responsibilities include:
1. Booking and arranging meetings
2. Managing the calendar for the Head of School and other members of SLT
3. Taking and circulating minutes for ‘All-Staff Briefing’ Meetings and Leadership Team meetings
4. Liaising with all stakeholders as and when necessary on behalf of the Head of School
5. Meeting and greeting visitors
6. Produce correspondence in relation to student exclusions
7. Produce and upload annual School Workforce Census
8. Line management of the school’s office/admin team
9. Attending school events such as open evenings, parents’ evenings
10. Assisting in implementing new procedures and protocols across the Trust and all its schools
11. Update and maintain SIMS staff records, staff training and Single Central Record as required
Person specification:
12. Experience working within the education sector (essential)
13. Knowledge of using the computer system SIMS (essential)
14. Holds a current enhanced DBS (essential)
15. Excellent organisational, planning and interpersonal skills
