As a Physiotherapist at our Brighton Hospital and Haywards Heath Hospital, you’ll have a BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. You also have excellent manual therapy skills, and you’re committed to developing as a practitioner. You’re a confident communicator, skilled at engaging with all kinds of people.
Nuffield Health is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join the team at Brighton Hospital and Haywards Heath Hospitals. You will see a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions from sports to workplace-related injuries and will play a key role in helping our patients achieve, maintain, and recover to the level of health and wellbeing that they aspire to. The role is based in the Hospital where you can treat your patients utilizing on-site gym equipment and rehabilitation facilities. You will work within a multidisciplinary team including fitness professionals and clinicians to optimise the health of our patients. We believe in our people and to help you develop your skills and progress your career in Nuffield Health you will be supported by your regional clinical lead, have protected CPD time, access to a local in-service training program and training events organised by the Nuffield Health Academy including both clinical and leadership courses.
As a Physiotherapist, you will:
* Assess and treat a wide variety of elective orthopedic, genealogical and general surgery patients in an inpatient setting
* Provide a safe and effective rehabilitation program to optimise their recovery post-surgery
* Deliver excellent clinical care that is evidence-based, Safe, Effective, Caring, Well-led and responsive to our patient’s needs
* Ensure ongoing monitoring of the standard of treatment provided
* Be compliant with all professional, clinical and integrated governance standards and participate in clinical audit and other quality assurance processes
As a Physiotherapist, you will have:
* A BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Evidence of further professional training and continual professional development, reflecting your desire to develop as a practitioner
* A confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with the general public and other healthcare professionals. A commitment to the use of evidence-based practice and excellent manual therapy skills
* Competent and confident IT user, well-organised with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload effectively and timely
* A shared value of putting people first and providing personalised, holistic healthcare
