As the Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving our cruise business’s performance, ensuring we achieve our P&L targets, and setting the strategic direction for growth. You will represent Iglu with key trade partners, including major cruise lines, suppliers, and travel intermediaries, and lead a high-performing, agile, and customer-focused team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute Iglu’s commercial cruise strategy across multiple markets, ensuring delivery of budget targets for passengers and gross margin.
* Develop tailored propositions by market, managing pricing, promotions, and exclusive deals with cruise line partners.
* Drive merchandising to optimise conversion rates and maximise margin.
* Work closely with cruise lines to secure the best tactical prices and exclusive offers for our customers.
* Oversee the management and accuracy of the website, ensuring product availability, offers, T&Cs, and inclusions are up-to-date.
* Lead and develop Iglu’s commercial team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
* Grow online business strategically, retaining customers and reducing cost to serve.
The Person:
* Proven track record in e-commerce commercial leadership (Cruise/Travel experience is a plus but not required).
* Strong analytical skills with a confident approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships both internally and externally.
* A natural leader with the ability to inspire, motivate, and drive teams towards success.
* Self-motivated and entrepreneurial with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a proactive approach to work.
* Effective time management and organisational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
