We are looking to recruit a Careers Coach to join our friendly community team in Salford.
You will become part of a team that provides careers support to 16-18 year-olds who are not in education, employment or training, helping them to identify their career ambitions and move into fulfilling employment and training. The role will be based at our office at St James House though you will be working flexibly in venues in the community across the city.
This position this varied, interesting and rewarding role will primarily be supporting with tracking young people whom we have been unable to confirm if they are in EET destination along with supporting young people and advising them about the range of opportunities available to them and ensuring that they are effectively supported via the appropriate referral mechanisms.
You will be providing information and advice on careers, job opportunities (including voluntary work), personal and social issues who are NEET and be responsible for supporting This role will be based at our office, though you will work flexibly across the city and in venues in the community across Salford.

You will join our team in the work that we do across the city and work closely with colleagues in partner organisations to help improve outcomes for young people. This will involve direct contact with young people, their parents/carers, and a range of professionals from support services, training providers and employers across the city, so excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage your time well and travel independently.
