Our Deals Tax team works closely with our Deals practice to advise on the tax implications of a variety of deals projects including Business Recovery Services, Real Assets & Credit, and Mergers and Acquisitions.
We are looking for an individual to join our Real Assets & Credit tax team as a real estate tax specialist.

You will gain experience working with prestigious and interesting clients as we have a wide client base including sovereign wealth funds, high-profile multinationals, private equity funds, institutions, pension funds, and REITs.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Act as day-to-day deal manager - taking responsibility for delivery of end-to-end reports.
2. Show an active awareness of/manage project time pressures and deadlines.
3. Delegate activities and coach junior members of the team.
4. Build relationships with key client individuals.
5. Act as day-to-day contact for your clients and their advisors.
6. Consider business development opportunities.
7. Involve specialist and overseas teams as required.
8. Communicate, consult, and obtain input from senior team members as required.
9. Apply a questioning mind and research technical areas using available PwC/external resources.
10. Communicate and agree budgets/report costs.
11. Manage the risk management process.
Essential Skills and Experience
1. Must possess a Chartered Accountant or Chartered Tax Advisor qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, ICAS, CAI, CTA) or international equivalent qualification or hold equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
2. Evidence of working on Real Estate projects for key clients or a track record of advising on UK corporate tax.
3. Experience of leading and coaching others.
4. Experience in building and leveraging internal and external relationships and networks.
5. Developed communication skills, for example, in negotiating with and influencing others.
6. Experience of handling and delivering multiple projects to meet deadlines.
