About the Role
This is a pivotal role where you’ll combine big-picture strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You’ll lead client relationships, develop and execute marketing strategies, and oversee programmes and campaigns from start to finish. Whether it’s crafting a content strategy, writing impactful marketing materials, managing online events, or analysing campaign performance, no two days will be the same.
You’ll work with a range of clients – Founders, CEOs, CMOs and their senior teams, in a broad range of B2B industries, including professional and financial services, built environment and technology. Our roster is growing, and we’d love your help there too!

What You’ll Be Responsible For
* Client Relationships: Acting as the main day-to-day point of contact for your accounts, driving programmes and their execution, while ensuring smooth communication and timely updates.
* Client Management: Delivering exceptional client service by understanding their needs, anticipating challenges, and consistently exceeding expectations. Spotting opportunities for growth and bringing the best of The Listening People’s expertise to support their success.
* MarComms Strategy: Developing integrated marketing and communications plans that grow reputations, generate leads, and build lasting relationships.
* Campaign Management and execution: Designing and delivering campaigns on time, within budget, and to an exceptional standard across digital, content, social, and events.
* Content Creation: Producing compelling, audience-focused marketing and sales materials that address real-world pain points.
* Performance Analysis: Monitoring and reporting on campaign outcomes, with recommendations for optimisation.
* Collaboration: Liaising with client and their teams, designers, developers, and other specialists to bring strategies to life. Identifying, briefing and managing all resources required to deliver the client’s programme within budget.
* New Business Opportunities: Contributing to creative proposals and pitches that help The Listening People grow.
* Market Insights: Keeping up with industry trends and sharing insights to enhance our work.
Skills & Experience You’ll Need to Bring
* 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing and account management (agency or in-house).
* Experience in leading a number of client accounts and projects simultaneously
* Expertise in developing and executing marketing strategies for B2B audiences.
* Experience in Professional Services desirable, but not essential.
* Strong writing skills for content creation, social media, and marketing materials.
* Proven ability to manage and execute multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Commercial acumen with a strategic mindset and problem-solving ability.
* Proficient in using common IT/digital tools and platforms to enhance productivity and collaboration (eg, Microsoft Office, WordPress, Canva, LinkedIn).
