Advertised Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 + benefits
Location: Site based - the successful applicant will be required to be based at Bradley Workshop (Bradley Lane, Bilston, WV14 8DW) 5 days a week.

We currently have an excellent opportunity to join the Trust as a Workshop Supervisor at our Bradley Workshop, Bilston, West Midlands. Reporting to the National Workshops Manager, you will facilitate the efficient working of the team building/supplying/repairing complete lock gate and lock gate parts in line with safety requirements, Trust policies, and heritage standards. We are looking for an organised and engaging manager who demonstrates that positive customer experience and Health and Safety standards are central to both how they work and how they set expectations for their team.
Experience in Carpentry/Joinery production would be advantageous, but not essential, in this role.

Location & working hours
The role will be based from Bradley Workshop, Bradley Lane, Bilston, WV14 8DW 5 days a week.
The working hours of the workshop are 07:30 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday & 07:30 - 12:30 on Fridays.
Knowledge, Skills/Qualifications & Experience
Our Workshop Supervisor will oversee all aspects of the workshop manufacturing/fabrication programme, ensuring that jobs are completed according to planned schedules, to budget and quality whilst maximising safety. Overseeing a team of up to 10 workshop operatives, you will provide daily on-site management; managing and organising workloads, ensuring correct materials are accessible, and facilitating the general efficient workflow of the workshop team. You will liaise with other teams, suppliers, third parties, and customers when needed.
Key experience for this position includes:
* People management experience in manufacturing/production.
* Practical experience in process planning and/or improvement.
* Implementing and/or regulating best Health & Safety practices. As part of the role, there will be the opportunity to gain a NEBOSH qualification.
* 2D & 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD). As part of the role, there will be the opportunity to undertake CAD courses.
