About Our Client
Our client is a market leading and highly reputable organisation based in Fareham with modernised, open plan offices. There are strong public transport links and easy access to the M27. Due to a period of growth within the business and an increase in transactions they are in need of additional support within their finance team.
Job Description
As an accounts assistant you will be responsible for the following:
*
o Processing supplier invoices.
o Processing daily payments.
o Raising ad hoc payments as requested.
o Reconciling all purchase ledger supplier accounts to statements and produce the payment run.
o Reviewing general purchase ledger creditors and resolve identified issues.
o Raising customer invoices.
o Bank reconciliations.
o Dealing with queries.
o Handling petty cash.
o Month end duties.
The Successful Applicant
In order to be considered for the accounts assistant role, you must:
* Have previously worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this experience
* Be immediately available or on short notice.
* Be able to multi-task.
* Have excellent attention to detail.
* Be able to work with high volume.
* To be able to work as part of a team.
