We are recruiting an Airfreight Movements Advisor for our National transport and logistics company near Heathrow airport.
You will be responsible for all elements of Procurement and Capacity Management activity for Special Shipments and non-General Cargo special products.
Salary: £30-35k per annum based on your experience
Working Hours: Mon to Fri, Day shift, Office based

Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for 'Special shipments' and non-General Cargo 'special product' procurement activities for the business.
2. Support market leading procurement through close partnership and negotiation with the carriers across the team for contracted tariff business and special spot business.
3. Manage allocations for regular 'special' movements.
4. Work hand in hand with all station pricing teams.
5. Set up customer or quote specific requirements.
6. Ensure customers are profitable using data and tools to ensure consolidation profitability levels.
7. Use data to monitor carrier OTP and right first time billing and manage performance with the carriers.
8. Close liaison with the GSMs to ensure transition of planning from theoretical/data/commercials into physical execution and planning.
9. Participate in regular PD sessions.
10. Be an active member of the Air Product Team working with all operations teams as necessary.
11. Build and maintain effective relationships with all airfreight product and operations teams and managers.
12. Foster a close working relationship with ACC, Gateway and RDM/IBDM.
13. Build and maintain effective relationships with carrier partners.
14. Support training, data and guidance to the wider product organisation.
15. Be a team player both locally and UK wide.
