You’ll ensure that every order, from inventory management to dispatch, upholds our commitment to quality, customer care, and sustainability. Role Overview This is more than just managing goods in and out; this is about leading a team that creates extraordinary moments at every touchpoint. You’ll be overseeing both the Warehouse and Fulfilment operations, ensuring the timely and accurate despatch of all products. You’ll collaborate with teams across the business, from Production to Retail, and support our growth and sustainability goals while ensuring a seamless, customer-focused service. Operational Management Oversee the accurate, timely despatch of all orders, ensuring each package embodies the Bird & Blend brand. Enhance the unboxing experience by thoughtfully preparing and beautifully presenting each order to create joyful customer moments. Manage daily operations with a focus on efficiency and quality, optimising processes and proactively resolving challenges. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure stock levels, order schedules, and workflows support smooth, customer-centric operations. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement Set, monitor, and report on key performance indicators to ensure team efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Lead initiatives to improve workflows, systems, and reporting, fostering flexibility and operational efficiency. Anticipate and address potential challenges, ensuring teams and processes are scalable to support long-term business growth. Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Compliance Promote a culture of health and safety, ensuring full regulatory compliance and maintaining the integrity of our products. Uphold rigorous food safety standards through regular audits to guarantee product quality and traceability. Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless preparation for internal and external audits. Inventory & Stock Management Oversee accurate stock takes and proactively manage inventory flow, addressing discrepancies and short-dated products. Ensure goods are efficiently received, logged, and stored, maintaining seamless inventory management processes that support operational excellence. Logistics & Supplier Management Manage day-to-day logistics to ensure efficient movement of goods and timely deliveries. Act as a key liaison with suppliers, addressing and resolving delivery issues promptly to maintain uninterrupted stock flow and support smooth operations. Sustainability & Social Responsibility Lead sustainability initiatives, promoting efficient resource use, zero-waste practices, and adherence to the environmental purchasing policy. Actively engage with local social initiatives and charity campaigns that reflect Bird & Blend’s values, fostering a positive impact within the community. Collaboration & Communication Maintain effective cross-departmental communication to ensure aligned goals and smooth operations. Partner with key stakeholders to plan for product launches, seasonal demand, and additional service requirements, ensuring resources and workflows are positioned to support business growth. Qualifications & Skills Experience : Proven experience in operations or logistics management, preferably in a fulfilment or warehouse environment. Leadership : Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing diverse teams. Operational Skills : Excellent organisational and project management skills, with experience in setting and tracking KPIs. Health & Safety Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of health and safety standards, food safety protocols, and industry compliance. Sustainability Commitment : Understanding of environmental and social responsibility in business operations. Communication : Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Working Hours This role requires flexibility, including availability to work on a shift basis and weekends, as needed to meet business demands. Are there any perks?
