Situated in the stunning scenery of Swaledale, just near Keld, the highest Inn in Great Britain is a warm meeting place, known internationally, where Walkers & Cyclists brush shoulders and converse with people from the Media, Arts, Music, Film & Theatre.

Please note: Although you will be primarily based at one site, you may be required to provide cover for any staff shortages at their other site, which is 20 minutes away.
What we need from you to apply:
1. Front of House experience is preferred but training is provided for those keen to get into the industry
2. Be able to cover any staff shortages at the other site
3. Willing and keen to learn
4. Can thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
5. A team player, willing to muck in on other tasks if needed
6. Friendly, bubbly personality
7. Possess good attention to detail
8. Driving Licence would be a bonus
What this role involves:
1. Greet and seat guests as they arrive, providing them with menus and information about daily specials
2. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted and food running
3. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
4. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and waiting areas
5. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
6. Support bartending duties when required, including mixing drinks and serving beverages responsibly, filling of pints, serving the pints etc
7. Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices throughout all operations.
Salary: £8 - £14.00 per hour, depending on age, plus tips.
Hours: Core hours of the business are 8am – 12 midnight. You will be working full or part time hours/different shifts available - 16-40 hours per week and weekends on a rota basis.
