Role Overview The Activity Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our activity programme. You will be responsible for managing a team of Activity Leaders, overseeing the planning and delivery of on-site activities, off-site excursions, and ensuring student safety and engagement. The role involves liaising with staff, students, and external clients, and being part of the Centre Management Team. Locations & Dates Oxford : 2nd July – 13th August 2025, International House Oxford, St Edward’s School (12-17 year olds) Tavistock : 9th July – 20th August, International House Tavistock, Mount Kelly School (12-17 year olds) Payment £780 (including holiday pay) paid induction. Contract 1–6 weeks, depending on location. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the activity programme, including excursions and on-site activities Oversee the rota and ensure Activity Leaders are fully prepared Conduct appraisals and provide ongoing support and guidance to the activity team Liaise with Centre Management, Welfare Managers, and external clients Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all activities Manage budgets for the activity department and monitor stock levels Hold daily meetings with staff and ensure they are fully briefed for excursions and transfers Essential Requirements GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent Experience working with children and leading or supervising activities Strong organisational and management skills Proficient in English Ability to work as part of a team and handle responsibility Desirable CELTA or equivalent Sports/Art Degree or PGCE Coaching qualifications Experience in summer programme management What We Offer Free Meals & Refreshments: Enjoy 3 delicious meals a day, with access to tea, coffee, and snacks throughout your shift.
